The traditional fanfare associated with Mardi Gras season may not be happening this year, but don't let that keep your carnival spirits down! Today marks "The Twelfth Night," also known as Epiphany, which is traditionally celebrated as the day the Wise Men visited Jesus after his birth. Up until the 19th century, Epiphany was as big a celebration as Christmas Day! Today, it marks the end of the Christmas season - and officially the time to put away all Christmas decorations (and if you’re in the South, the official start of the Mardi Gras.) It is also known as the week that we all second line to the nearest king cake!
To help kick off the season (in style), we have added new items to our Mardi Gras Collection. You can show your carnival spirit by adding a monogrammed wreath sash for your front door, a beautiful ivory runner to your dining room table, or take the party to the bathroom with a monogrammed crown hand towel!
